The Mountain Folk of Wolf Creek Ranchinvite you to visit their camp on the Navajo Trail.Our rides are guided by experienced mountain folk who are happy to share their knowledge, of the woods and mountains, with you and your children. Whether you choose a trail ride, a horse drawn sleigh ride or a carriage ride, we hope you' have a fun and memorable experience.
Trail Ride Information- 1 Hour Trail Rides -
Leisurely Rides for anyone with or without riding experience. Crosses the south fork of the Rio Grande, onto a beautiful trail through the woods and meadows. Wildlife, such as deer, elk, moose, beaver, ducks, geese and more, have been seen.$25.00 per person
- 2 Hour Trail Rides -
For the more adventurous rider. This ride goes up Fox Mountain to a breathtaking view of the Continental Divide and Columbine Falls.$40.00 per person
- 3 Hour Trail Rides -
All of the fun and adventure of the of the 1 and 2 hour rides and more!$55.00 per person
- Day Rides -
(4 person minimum)Ride from the Ranch across Fox Mountain toward Tucker Ponds for a nice Picnic Lunch (provided) and back for a full day's adventure. $100.00 per person
- Tips for the Trip -
We recommend long pants, long sleeves, boots or shoes with heels, and a hat. You may want sunscreen, insect repellent, water and a camera (don't forget the batteries and film.**Walk-ins welcome**
Sleigh and Carriage Ride Information"Come wrap yourself in a warmed blanket and join us and our Team "Butch and Buster" for a leisurely scenic tour in a beautiful sleigh or carriage, followed by a hot beverage and baked goods served in a warm canvas lodge in the woods."- Opening Special -
1/2 Hour Rides $20.00 per Adult $15.00 per Child (age 5-12) Children 4 and under ride free We are open Thanksgiving thru March. We use the sleigh when there is enough snow and the carriage otherwise. Open Sundays 1:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. Monday - Thursday 4:00p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday 1:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. Saturdays 7:00p.m. - 10:00 Closed Friday evenings and Saturday afternoon for our horses' Pleasure!
